Ethics and social marketing

Social marketers have discussed the ethics of their work for years and is a topic I'm personally exploring in the Learning Stream on Risks and Ethics of Innovation Prizes for Development, for Ideas to Impact, (blog posts and publications due out later this year).

I find this report for the NSMC, by Professor Lynne Eagle a really helpful introduction to ethics in general, identifies several ethical issues raised by social marketing and concludes with a draft code of ethics for social marketers.
